My Journey
Makia Lomi Lomi was founded with a passion for spreading the magic
of traditional Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage techniques. My personal journey receiving Lomi Lomi has led to a deep appreciation for the healing power of massage. To share this now by giving Lomi Lomi is a dream unfolding in the present moment.
I work on my own in one to one sessions and with a community of Lomi therapists that have trained with Dan and Laura my teachers @ Stay in Touch Earth in the wonderful ancient art of Lomi Lomi.
I have successfully completed the Lomi Lomi Nui Foundation course.
The course consisted of 6 days (50 hours) with Dan Joy.

At Makia Lomi Lomi, I specialise in traditional Hawaiian lomi lomi massage. Also known as the 'loving hands' massage, lomi lomi works gently yet deeply into the muscles with continuous, flowing strokes, allowing the recipient to relax and give in to the nurturing touch. I am dedicated to providing a unique and holistic approach to massage therapy. My services are designed to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being.

In the Hawaiian language, aloha stands for much more than just "hello" or "goodbye" or "love." Its deeper meaning is "the joyful (oha) sharing (alo) of life energy (ha) in the present (alo). "Aloha also refers to a powerful way to resolve any problem, accomplish any goal, and to achieve any state of mind or body that you desire. As you share this energy you become attuned to the Universal Power that the Hawaiians call Mana.
